A moment to reflect.
Hi everyone,
Given it was just Thanksgiving, at least here in the US, I wanted to take a moment to give thanks.
I am thankful to have found an occupation where I can put purpose front and center and (hopefully) make a living.
I am thankful to have found wonderful partners to build MCJ with, who I have the utmost respect for professionally and as humans, and who I learn from every day.
I am thankful for this wonderful community of passionate, climate-motivated people, who have so much to teach to our team and each other, and who have collectively made and will continue to make a big dent towards tackling the wicked problem of climate change.
I am thankful for the many founders who have deemed little MCJ worthy of making room for on their often oversubscribed cap tables, and our team worthy of partnering with to help scale their companies.
I am thankful for the 180+ LPs, who have put their trust in us to be good stewards of their hard-earned capital, to have significant impact while generating significant profits.
I am thankful for a wonderful family, friends, and a truly blessed life in my first 45 years on the planet.
And finally, I am thankful to have been born with an optimistic spirit, as I have found that unbridled optimism can help you navigate through whatever life throws your way, and to achieve things you and most others never thought were possible.
What are you most thankful for? Drop us a line, we would love to hear from you.
Jason
